This is an all Travertine tile install in a master bathroom in Dearborn, Mi. The tile sizes consisted of 12×12 for the bathroom floor and 2×2 for the shower floor, the walls of the shower and wainscoat of the main bath area were 9×18 and were laid in a running bond pattern with pencil liners and a glass/stone mix mosaic as a border piece.

The shower was prepped and then waterproofed with Laticretes ” Hydroban” and was grouted with Laticretes “Permacolor” grout which is a stain resistant, mold and mildew resistant grout and has been our standard grout now for a number of years. The thinset used was again Laticretes “4XLT” which is a mediun bed, non-sag thinset.

A new vanity and granite countertop were installed along with a new toilet and Delta facets and shower controls, the final finish was the Euro style shower doors to give this bathroom a truely modern feel.
